Ken Joined Cummins in January of 2012. Ken’s first role was as the Functional Excellence Leader for Global OnBoarding. He currently serves as the Area manager for The Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio and Indianapolis Sales and Service branches.
Prior to joining Cummins Ken served in the U.S. Army on active duty for 26 years retiring in October of 2011 as a Special Forces Colonel. His last assignment was with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Tampa where he served as the Chief of Plans. During his career Ken commanded operational units from the A-Team to the Battalion level and he also served as the senior Human Resources officer for Army Special Operations. Ken served two tours in Iraq and a tour in the Philippines in support of Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines. Ken has earned the Combat Infantryman’s badge and the Special Forces and Ranger Tabs, and his awards include the Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, and the Bronze Star.
Ken graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Communications and he holds an MA in Human Resources Management from Webster University and an MA in Strategic Studies from the USMC War College. Ken enjoys travelling and visiting with his son and daughter-in-law and their two children who live in Fredericksburg, VA. Ken lives in Indianapolis.

Jim “Doc” McCloughan grew up close
to South Haven, Michigan. He was drafted in 1968 and served as a
combat medic in the Americal Division where he rose to the rank of
Specialist Five. In one battle alone “Doc” has been credited with
moving into the “kill zone” on ten occasions, saving ten American
lives and one Vietnamese interpreter’s life. Specialist McCloughan
was highly decorated receiving the Combat Medic Badge, two Purple
Hearts, two Bronze Stars with “V” device for valor, and in 2017, Jim
was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest
military commendation. In 1970, upon returning home from Vietnam,
Mr. McCloughan taught at South Haven High School for thirty eight
years. He taught psychology and sociology while coaching football,
wrestling, baseball, and American Legion Baseball. As a MHSAA
wrestling official, he was selected to referee eighteen MI Wrestling
State Finals. Jim has been inducted into three athletic halls of fame,
plus the MI High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame, the MI High
School Football Coaches Hall of Fame, and the MI High School
Coaches Hall of Fame which represents coaches from all boys’ and
girls’ sports. In June 2019, Jim was inducted into the National
Wrestling Hall of Fame. He has received several other prestigious
awards. Since retirement, Jim has remained dedicated to his
community and the nation serving several non-profit organizations
along with multiple charitable projects. Jim is
1 of 65 Living Medal of Honor Recipients and the only living recipient
in Michigan (3,517 total recipients).
